Electronics Features
The MDX-1 Metal Detector electronics is supplied in an IP66 enclosure, and incorporates integral keypad for all programming. All information is displayed on a backlit LCD display.

Metal Detector Marker Systems:
The "MDX-1"Metal detector, as standard uses a counting system shown below ,or as an option can be supplied with a burden marking system including "flag" and "spray" types.
When the MDX-1 Metal Detector detects tramp metal the conveyor is tripped and coasts to a stand still. The MDX-1 uses a pulse encoder to calculate the distance from the coils to the tramp metal along the conveyor. Markings are added by the operator in 0.5m increments to ascertain the position of the tramp. the distance is shown on the screen of the MDX-1 when tripped.
